Device
How do I connect my P-GEAR device?
Turn on the device, open the P-GEAR app, enable Bluetooth and location permissions, then select the device inside the app.
Why is GPS signal weak?
Use the device outside with a clear view of the sky. Avoid garages, tunnels, tall buildings and placing the device under metal or heavily tinted glass.
How should I mount the device?
Place the device securely where it has the best satellite visibility. Avoid hidden or enclosed mounting locations.
Drag
Can I measure multiple drag tests at once?
Yes. You can select multiple speed or distance tests before starting, and P-GEAR will record the matching results during the same run.
What does correction mean?
Correction helps make results more comparable by adjusting supported timing data. Slope correction shows the corrected result as if the run was measured without hill effect.
Can I create custom drag tests?
Yes. Custom speed ranges and test settings can be created in the app depending on the mode and device support.
Track
Does P-GEAR support circuit use?
Yes. Track mode is designed for lap timing, racing line review, sector data, speed analysis and replay features.
Can I use custom tracks?
Yes. You can create custom track layouts and define start or finish points inside the app.
Can I compare laps?
Yes. P-GEAR supports lap review and comparison tools, including map, video and telemetry-based analysis depending on your device and app version.
